Avenue Cafe Carrickmacross

Recently tried the new wood fired pizza at Avenue. It was tasty and the service was good.
Pizzas are served in takeaway boxes even if you are sitting in which is wasteful, a plate of some sort that is reusable would be just as good. You would easily eat a whole pizza yourself as they are nice and thin based, but this means you're spending up to €18 each on a pizza which is way more expensive than any other wood fired pizza I have had. I would be tempted to go elsewhere (Kingscourt, Bective, Duleek, Bettystown) as they are bigger and less expensive.

Great coffee with special, locally sourced milk which makes the lattes and cappuccinos super worthwhile.
The coffee is also good and the staff are super friendly and give great service.
The food is also really good, very comforting and delicious at a decent price.
It's pet friendly.
Love that they stock Gaza Cola.

Absolutely beautiful unique coffee shop, with lovely treats and food 🥰 the sausage roll was amazing and the best coffee I've had in years but more so the staff were so nice! Every one of them was polite and had the craic. I'd definitely come back from Navan for a coffee.
